The Vision of the CENTER FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT is to develop, maintain and constantly improve upon a workforce development system that creates and nurtures an employable, educated, trained, marketable workforce to meet the needs of employers and promotes economic development with businesses that value the diversity, skills and abilities of our local area workforce.

The Mission of the CENTER FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT is to create and operate a premier workforce development system that fosters economic development by:

• Linking employers and job seekers with providers of education and training,
• Educating and training a marketable workforce, and
• Serving as the resource for information and services to meet the needs of the local area workforce and employers.
